Can Repair Prices (Below are typical repair costs. Fees may vary depending on the uniqueness of the repair.)

Flat Tops (8, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, and 16 oz):

  • Add brand new lid that you supply to a flanged can: $5.
  • Add brand new lid that you supply to a can with a rolled lip or existing rim: $8
  • Add either top or bottom: $20 plus donor lid
  • Remove minor dents and re-install the same lid: $20
  • Remove moderate dents and re-install the same lid: $25
  • Remove major dents and re-install the same lid: $30
  • Convert drinking cup, without handle and no rolled lip, into a can: $20 plus donor lid
  • Convert drinking cup, without a handle and has a rolled lip, into a can: $25 plus donor lid
  • Convert drinking cup, with handle, into a can: $30 plus donor lid
  • Stretch can to hide gear marks: $40 plus donor lid(s)

Cone Tops (12 oz):

  • Add cone bottom or spout: $25 plus donor
  • Remove minor dents and re-install the same bottom: $25
  • Remove moderate dents and re-install the same bottom: $30
  • Remove major dents and re-install the same bottom: $35

Crowntainers:

  • Add new bottom: $30 plus donor bottom
  • Remove minor dents and re-install the same bottom: $30
  • Remove moderate dents and re-install the same bottom: $35

Quarts:

  • Add new spout or bottom: $40 plus donor spout or bottom
  • Remove minor dents and re-install the same bottom: $40
  • Remove moderate dents and re-install the same bottom: $45

Rolling (8, 12 & 16 oz cans):

  • $15 to roll the can. This includes a soldered seam
  • $5 extra for a notched seam. This is a three notched seam as seen on many flat tops from the 30's, 40's & 50's.
  • Application of lids is extra. Please see above for prices.

The above prices do not include return shipping or donor lids. It is the customers responsibility to provide the donor can. This is to ensure that you will be happy with how the lid matches the condition of the can. The used donor can will not be returned. On occasion we do have a limited supply of lids available for a fee. Depending on the style of lid desired, the cost ranges from $5 - $30.

Have extra donor cans or lids? I will do work in exchange for donor cans. Looking for cone tops, cone bottoms, zip tabs, insert tabs, and copper lids. Also, looking for new lids.
